Antique 17-Inch AM 370 Doll In Old-Fashioned Bridal Attire2

Here we have an Armand Marseille 370 Doll which we have married to a vintage cloth body with bisque hands and legs.  We have stated in previous listings and will reiterate that antique leather bodies are exacting exorbitant prices at this time, some costing over 0 for a large doll such as this.  In an effort to keep our prices reasonable, we endeavor to use these cloth dolls and leatherette bodies as much as we can when a real leather body is too damaged to use, or when we have found a beautiful head without a body to match.  We hope this agrees with even a discerning doll collector as the importance of the doll is in the head, for the most part.  And we will try to bring you dolls with their original bodies as much as we can, that means much higher prices, no?  Who wants that??  So we will carry on as we have been and if it does not suit you, please do let us know what pleases you and we will comply!  Back to our lovely doll:  She is 17 inches tall with a red mohair wig with lots of lovely little curls.  We did not wash this one but we did pin through it throughly and it seemed pretty free of dust and dirt so we did not do the whole Muffie's Moppets clean-a-thon on it.  She has beautiful dark blue sleepy eyes that are now packed for shipping and display.  That means, if you want her eyes to open and close, you need to pry her pate open in the back and take a pair of tweezers and yank out the paper towel in the cavity of the head.  We suggest unless you have a thing for sleepy eyes or OCD, you just let things alone, as this wadding does a lot of good things for your doll.  If she falls over, there is less likelihood the head will smash with the wadding in place.  If you sell your doll, you are good to go without having to do all that pesky packing of the head, etc.  Get it?  She is beautifully colored with her lips especially dark and luscious.  She is,wearing matching pantalettes and half slip that are off-white and white stockings and shoes.  Her white cotton dress is very pretty with lace trimmings and a lovely lace edged bonnet with satin ribbons that tie under her chin.  She is the picture of an old fashioned country bride.
