Description
This is an offering of an antique Asian, Oriental oval mirror that was originally mounted on a swing style stand.
This is so unique and unusual that I thought someone may be able to re-purpose this or have a stand to attach it to.
This is done in a brass metal and has a very detailed raised design that is done with a heavy turquoise and blue enamel.
It features Birds and flowers . Around the edge is an embossed design with some enameled areas as well.
There is a hole on each of the 2 sides where it originally fit onto a stand style mirror so it could swing back and forth.
The mirror has dimensions of 6 1/4" x 7".
Backside has an old beveled mirror that has lots of scratches.
This is just such a unique piece it could actually be used as a plaque hanging on the wall. I'm guessing this is from the 1800's era.
