Antique Wax over Chalkware Boudoir Bust Half Doll - Sculpture

Description

I don't know if this lovely lady began life as a doll but she lives her life now as a beautiful sculpture.
I'm not a doll expert simply a collector of fine objects.
She is approximately 5.25 inches.
The delicacy of her
features and details suggest she is possibly German or French.
As you can see, her
expression is lovely, peaceful and calming.
She is positioned on a metal rod which is on a base of black wood.
It's almost as if a doll maker decided she was too lovely to
be a doll.
She has been in my private family collection for over 70 years
and lived among my other fine collectibles behind glass.  Please consider the photos as part of the description.
