Gorgeous antique 1870s, poured wax shoulderhead infant doll, exquisite clothing

Here is an exquisite,
16 inch long,
antique,
circa 1870s
,
poured wax shoulderhead infant
doll with
molded chest slightly turned to the left in a life like pose
, poured wax lower arms and legs with excellent modeling and details (nailed to the body) and firmly stuffed cloth torso. He or she has thick, deeply carved, brown curly hair all around the scalp and gorgeous threaded, antique blue glass eyes,
deeply molded, upper and lower eyelids
, finely painted eyelashes, sweetly shaped nose and closed mouth with pleasant expression. Baby also has nicely molded ears and well formed fingers, finger nails and toes and original, muslin cloth body.  He is dressed in the most wonderful antique gown with lots and lots of fine pleating, inset yoke and lace trim, long slip and matching baby bonnet with satin ties. Possibly made to represent the
Baby Jesus for a Nativity
display. He is in excellent condition with no damages or defects, no cracks or chips, no stains or odors and is from a smoke free home. (loc 23) Last photo shows another early poured wax child doll
