    Description

Tibetan GAU made of Tibetan silver with lapilazuli and turquoise
    An extremely rare handcrafted piece!
I bought the amulet from a Tibetan who lives in exile in Nepal.
The Tibetan amulet can be opened like a small jar. Tibetans wear the so-called Gaus around their necks. Religious charms and medicinal herbs are kept in them. They are also often used as "portable shrines".
The beautiful pendant is made of a silver mixture, which is called Tibetan silver. It has a nice bulbous shape! On the finely crafted surface, which is inlaid with powdered turquoise and lapis lazuli, the center of the endless knot stands for endless life and love. Around the outside you can see the Tibetan characters "Om Mane Padme Hum".
Dimensions: 6.7 cm high, 4.5 cm wide, 1.7 cm thick
