NEW! 21" AM "RUTH" Doll In Vintage Dress & Felt Hat 7

Here we have a large, 21 inch, antique Armand Marseille "Ruth" doll.  She is a shoulder head in great condition, with no noted problems as far as chips, cracks, or hairlines. A previous owner appered to have tried to have reset her rocker for her  blue glass eyes, but, unfortunately, used much too much plaster, and it succeeded in plastering her eyes open and causing her mouth to be inaccessible to the normal thing that we often do with all dolls we get: which is sealing the space behind her teeth with red felt.  We also changed the pate on her head which was really awful and caked with glue and her wig was very lumpy and dirty.  We cleaned and cut the the antique blonde wig, but having absolutely no talent for styling doll's hair ( we tried), we left it for her new mommy or daddy to style this gorgeous antique wig.  She is wearing the outfit she came to us wearing.  It appears to be an older, vintage dress, with is a black background with a blue floral, which we laundered, sprayed starched, and ironed.  We meticously beached the rust marks on the antique lace on the dress with a Q-tip and replaced the faded blue bows on the front.  Underneath, she wears an all-in-one chemise and pantalettes in white which is trimmed with lace and fish net stockings with black french shoes decorated with tiny black flowers with a tiny pearl in the centef.  She wears a black felt floppy hat with a big bow on the front with a crystal affixed on the center on the bow.
