    Description

Pair of escutcheon plates for a pocket door lock, circa 1900, in heavy cast iron with Arts & Crafts influence signed on the back Y & T, for Yale & Towne, in the cloverleaf logo.  One plate has a keyhole which looks a bit mis-shapened due to long term use - the other plate has no keyhole.  Plates are 8" high x 2 7/8" wide.  Rectangular recess cutout needed to mount is 4 3/4" high x 1 7/8" x 3/8" deep.  Untouched and in original finish showing aging but no damage.  As is.  Heavy and well cast.  Great for pocket or sliding doors.
