    Description

    Fully refurbished antique Victorian Reading Hardware Company (RHCo) mortise lock with a cast bronze face plate.
    Listing for one (of seven at posting)
    .   Stamped on interior 1199 1/2  In premium condition.  In perfect working order.  All interior parts in perfect working condition.  These are in perfect working order.
    Sold separately.  There were seven available at posting (I hope to be adding several more). All are in more or less equal very good condition.  The only blemishes would be on the bronze face place where you will see small dinks and dents where people tried to get the deadbolt loose from 100 years of paint instead of just removing one screw to clean.  It still amazes me that I could get in 100 locks from 100 different sources and 99 of them will have the same marks.  The faces are solid cast bronze and aside from those few marks are straight and in great condition.  These have been stripped down to bare metal, rust removed and cleaned.  Interior was clear coated to help it last another 100 years, exterior was painted black (just cosmetic once installed you won't see this but it does make them look nice).  I have no keys but all of these are keyed the same. More on my locks below.
    General Information on my mortise locks:
    A very solid  mortise in excellent original condition.  I have posted multiple styles and sizes of mortise locks.   All paint and rust was removed and all interior parts have been cleaned and polished.  All interior parts and springs are in good operating condition and replaced with comparable vintage parts if necessary.  All my mortise locks are reconditioned and fully functioning. Keys are not included unless specifically noted in the listing as well as the pictures.  On the more or less simple interior mortise locks I have found many different skeleton keys work with many different locks.  These were designed with privacy not security in mind and you may find this especially true on the branded locks.  A Yale key would work on many different style Yale locks.  With that being noted for general information I repeat that keys are not included in the sale unless specifically noted.
    The best description are the pictures posted.  Use them to verify condition and dimensions.
