Vintage 1964 Baskon Automatic Super Astronaut 8mm Projector, Rare Model, WORKS

For your consideration is this Vintage Baskon Automatic "Super Astronaut" 8mm Projector.
This is a rare model marketed as "Super Astronaut", good luck ever finding another like this!!
Stickers on the bottom indicate that this machine was manufactured in January of 1964, right in the teeth of the great "Space Race" (
Sputnik got into orbit in 1957 and we Americans landed on the moon in 1969)
and when everybody was trying to associate their product(s) with the public's fervor for anything "space".
This 8mm projector is in very good condition, although the exterior covers do have some minor scratching and wear.
The interior of the machine is basically flawless.
The bulb in the machine works and the reel spindles work for forward and reverse.
The power cord is undamaged and the individual buttons all function properly.
This machine comes with the original "Operating Instructions" as well as with two take up reels.
Both take up reels are "Compco Corp 200FT 8mm" reels and both come with their own storage canisters. Everything associated with these reels is metal and in great shape.
