I sell Vintage and Antique items (specializing in dolls & anything doll-related). These little beauties come with imperfections, dust bunnies, smudges, etc.  While I'm not an authority on many of the items I offer, I CAN promise you that I will strive to do my very best, as I meticulously research every item that I find, to give you the most accurate description possible. If I've left something significant out about an item or if I've made an error in the listing, PLEASE reach out and contact me. Your communication is always welcome and warmly appreciated.
Furthermore, my home/business is a non-smoking, clean environment but considering most of what I purchase is at least 70 to over 100 yrs. old, there's no way of knowing what types of environments these items have been exposed to.  For example, some items have been in storage for many years.  However, I'll do my absolute very best to describe anything that I may discover. ❤
If an item that you purchased happens to get damaged during the shipping process, or if there are ANY other issues, PLEASE contact me so that I have the opportunity to remedy the problem. I will always respond to any concerns that you may have. Please do not leave negative feedback before allowing me the opportunity to address the issue. I'm an understanding person and I'll give it my best effort to make sure you're happy, not only with your item but with your entire experience with DesignerVintageLabels4You. I value and appreciate you.
    Warm regards,
    Trisha
Very little is known about the Yamato Importing Company of Japan who is believed to have been founded before 1917, as Foulds and Freure of New York city were apparently importing their dolls into the United States at that time.
According to a reference source Yamato's doll mark is believed to be the initials FY or FY intertwined, with or without a mold number and usually with the word Nippon in the mark.
The FY mark is found on bisque socket or shoulder head dolly face dolls with composition jointed or kid bodies, character dolls, solid dome head baby dolls, pouty dolls and a beautiful Oriental character doll.
